Nissan GT-R Spec V Brochure Leaked

Typically extra revisions include improved suspension, advanced roll cage and a reprogrammed all-wheel-drive system, named ATTESA-ETS. Power is said to be up to 382kW/ 512 bhp, coupled with an all-carbon fiber body, should make the Spec V not only quick as far more expensive super cars, but only handle even better than its Clark Kent self around challenging places like the Nurburgring. Steering should also be more direct.

Slingbox = Cool

Well I bought a SlingBox A/V. It’s great! Here’s a video of it working, you may have to be signed into Facebook to view it.

One Particular RCMP Officer Is Doing His Job A Little “Too Well”…

Well how it all began was I asked my sister to drive down to the mailbox and pick up the mail. I was expecting a package, found out it did not come today but that’s the least of my worry. Anyways her, and her friend, got her her car, left the driveway and drove to the end of the street. At the end of the street there is a stop sign. On the left there are a bunch of bushes and at that point in time (because I took a drive there right after it happened) there were some green composting plastic HRM bins on the side of the road. This means that you have to pull your car out past the stop sign to see if there are any cars coming (illustrated below: red = police, blue = sister, yellow = stop sign, pink = bushes/bins). Anyways, my sister claims, along with her friend that was in the car with her, that they came to a full stop. She remembers clearly because at the time they were stopped my sister and her friend talked about her friend’s cell phone going off. After that, she creeped out a little bit to see if there were any cars coming, then continued on down the road, passing the cop. The cop sat there and did nothing for a couple seconds, then put on his lights and pulled her over indicating she did not stop at the stop sign and wrote her a ticket for $164.50. Now I’m not against police doing their job, but there is a fine line in what is humanly possible to see from where the cop was and from where she was.

Out of curiosity I went for a drive to the exact location right after she got pulled over and came home. I did a complete stop at the stop sign and waited a whole 3 seconds before proceeding out a bit to look over the hedges and green bin to see if any cars were coming, then I looked to my right and did not see the police car. I looked again to my left to double check then right again and proceeded. It wasn’t after until i got onto the main road that I could even see the front end of the cop car. Knowing he was there I drove by and did a loop around and came back. I kinda wish he would have pulled me over for the same thing because I had the camera filming at the time in the passenger seat head rest.

Here is a picture of what I am talking about. What are your thoughts? Do you find it weird that the same cop patrols the same area day in and day out? He lives down the street too. I’ve gotten a few complaints from a lot of people talking about him…

Boredom

Well the windshield is fixed, work party tomorrow, and yup.. I’m bored. Oh, I finally got “non lazy” and approved those comments… lol. I don’t know who it is but you have an aliant internet connection I believe… anywho meh haha. Didn’t get the dish up yet due to the god damn snow. Was down at Dad’s tonight for supper… mmmm honey garlic pork and garlic bread, so good haha.  I’ll post some pics of the work party if I’m allowed to take pics… who knows. It’s 4 hours long… (yay?). Should be good though, KickOff presentations and dinner. We’re all supposed to wear business dress tomorrow. I don’t have a suit and hell if I’m going to buy one for 1 day… this should be interesting…

2nd Christmas

Well somethings finally came today. My CaptiveWorks 600s Premium receiver and the PSP GPS unit. GPS works awesome and it’s so small. CaptiveWorks box is going to have to wait a bit until I get my Y mount for the LNBs. I don’t have actualy pics yet, but here is what I found on Google images

Blah!

Well an appointment is made for the windshield replacement. Apline Auto Glass will be taking care of the dirty work. Saturday at 8am… ugh. Oh well, needs to be fixed! Hopefully it won’t be a backwoods job and fall apart, my luck a rock would hit it again when leaving the glass place.

Cracked Windshield

Work was good today. A customer called in wanting a technician to go out and unlock the scanner on their multifunction machine. (You mean you can’t pull the switch). Come on, don’t be a lazy ass. Just because you pay for a contract doesn’t mean we’re your servant. Does the mechanic come out to turn the lights off on your car when you turn them on? It’s the same thing.

Cracked Windshield & Terminator Series

The Sarah Connor Chronicles    So today was a normal day, worked. After work I go to the car, covered in ice and snow from the snow storm. After scraping all that off the car, I get in. Let her warm up for a bit, then start driving. Five minutes later I hear “snap” and i see a small crack on the windshield. Two minutes later it spreads to the whole windshield. So now I need a new windshield. Great. I’ll add some pictures of it tomorrow. It’s pretty bad. If you want to help out with the fund you can always donate money to my PayPal address scottdrmyers@eastlink.ca. Thanks… lol. I’ll make sure to mention you if you donate. :) .

So how about that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles series? Seems pretty good so far. First episode last night was pretty good. Hopefully tonight’s is great as well. Anyways it’s on… be back soon.

Edit: Well that episode was pretty good. I think I’m going to continue to watch this series. Looks very promising, good story going so far.

Chinese Cars Coming To Canada? Ugh. or Yay?

Well you’ve probably heard it, it’s been in the news, China… of all places wants to bring their automobiles to Canada. Possibly a secret attack? I mean come on, we know the products they make aren’t safe, what makes you think a $6,000 car is going to be safe. You’d be better off buying my Neon with the cracked windshield and no window winders. Like come on. I guess they’ll only get here after passing strict safety laws, but still… would you feel safe about your car being painted with lead paint, bursting into flames in your driveway, or finding that you can only use the low quality Chinese recalled tires?

Chery Eastar

Ok I’m going a bit overboard but you see the point I’m getting at. It might be just a better idea to buy a used car for $6000, at least other people have it on the road, you can find cheap parts (not quality wise lol) and mechanics will want to work on it. Lets wait and see. I can’t wait personally, I wanna see one all riced out! Woo!
